IAS provides Consular Attestation service in coordination with Consulate General of India, Dubai, on all Sundays from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Documents for attestation can be verified and submitted (if directed by the counter staff) at IAS counter from Monday to Saturday as per the counter timing stated above. Documents are handed over immediately after the service on Sunday. (For further details see Consular Service Section under Services Menu).

We are closed on all Public Holidays and on holidays declared by the Government of UAE.

Advance information through Notice will be given about the absence of Attestation Services, due to any reason

 

 

Administration

The Administration Department takes care of the General Administration of Indian Association Sharjah. General Enquiries, Community and Conference Hall Bookings, Admission to the Badminton Games, Admission to Gym, IAS Library etc. are also taken care of by General Administration Department.

All decisions regarding policy matters and day to day administration of IAS, Sharjah Indian School and Gulf Rose Nursery are taken by the Managing Committee of IAS. The Managing Committee meets as per the bye law and takes decisions on all matters. The decisions are implemented through the concerned Office Heads.

Central Accounts

All financial matters of Indian Association Sharjah, Sharjah Indian School and Gulf Rose Nursery are handled by IAS Central Accounts.

IAS Central Accounts works from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm from Saturday to Thursday. Sharjah Indian School fee counter at IAS also follows the same timing.The fee counter for collection of Sharjah Indian School and GRN fees works from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm on Fridays also.

Membership

Any Indian National in UAE with a valid UAE residence visa can become a member of the Association. But the membership is closed now. The current membership of the Association is 2499.

Charity Works

Indian Association Sharjah has been involved in a number of Charity Activities since its inception in 1979. Hundreds of people avail the financial assistance of Indian Association Sharjah every year. IAS has also provided financial assistance to the most deserving cases in our home country as Distress Relief. The Association’s help and assistance to Indians affected by Lathoor Earthquake disaster, The Gujarat Earthquake , Tsunami that washed off many houses in the Coastal area of Kerala etc. are known to all.

Volunteering

Indian Association Sharjah has been involved in a number of Charity Activities since its inception in 1979. A lot of people have already availed our assistance and support. IAS conducts regular visits to Sharjah jail every week with the officials of the Consulate General of India, Dubai. We identify the persons who really deserve our help and assistance and help them financially and provide other assistance for their early repatriation on completion of their jail terms. Our officials also visit Sharjah hospitals to identify the community members who are in dire need of help and assistance.
